The Showalter Williams Foundation (SSWYF)
The Showalter Williams Foundation was established in 2014 following the passing of Sandra Showalter-Williams, honoring her legacy of compassion, service, and unwavering commitment to helping others. The organization also operates as the Showalter Foundation and SSWYF Foundation.
As a youth-focused organization, our mission is centered on creating lasting community and family impact. We are dedicated to transforming lives through education, support, and opportunity.
Our Core Initiatives Include:
- Financial literacy and life skills for teenagers and young adults
- Sex education and pregnancy prevention for young girls
- Cancer awareness, treatment support, and prevention
- College tuition assistance for students
- Support for individuals with disabilities, including those who are visually impaired and individuals with Down syndrome
Through these initiatives and more, we strive to empower individuals, strengthen families, and uplift communities.
Our Fundraising Model: Multi-Level Fundraising
The Showalter Foundation operates using a unique approach we call multi-level fundraising—a system designed to help individuals and organizations raise funds for causes that matter most to them.
We proudly partner with:
- Nonprofits and community organizations
- Churches and faith-based groups
- Schools and educational institutions
- Sororities and civic groups
- Individuals with personal missions and goals
Through our program, partners can raise funds by promoting and selling our impactful books, courses, and products, as well as through donations.
Partners earn up to 50% commission on all sales and fundraising efforts.
Honoring Legacy & Inspiration
We pay homage to trailblazers such as Annie Malone and her student, Madam C.J. Walker, pioneers who laid the foundation for what is known today as multi-level marketing. Their legacy of entrepreneurship, empowerment, and economic opportunity continues to inspire our model and mission.
